Acquisition Corp is a newly incorporated blank check company formed for the purpose of effecting a merger, share exchange, asset acquisition, share purchase, reorganization or similar business combination with one or more businesses. The Company is sponsored by H.I.G. Acquisition Advisors, LLC, an affiliate of H.I.G. Capital, LLC ('HIG'). H.I.G. Acquisition Corp., led by its Chief Executive Officer Brian Schwartz, a Co-President of HIG, and its President Rob Wolfson, an Executive Managing Director of HIG, will not be limited to a particular industry or geographic region in its identification and acquisition of a target company. The Company plans to leverage HIG's deal-sourcing network, which has investment experience in the healthcare, technology, media and telecommunications, services, industrial, consumer and other sectors.
